Position Overview
p osition will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the CPQ ecosystem, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, data management and system administration. This role requires both technical aptitude and business process understanding, as the professional will work across multiple interconnected platforms that support the product configuration and quoting process Although the role is not intended to function as a helpdesk position, a significant portion of the workload involves investigating and resolving complex issues that cannot be addressed through first-level support due to system complexity, access limitations, or lack of technical knowledge from other teams.

The organization is currently undergoing a systems transition, so the primary focus will be on supporting and enhancing newer platforms rather than legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues impacting internal and external users of the CPQ ecosystem.
• Perform root cause analysis and identify sustainable solutions to system and process-related problems.
• Support and maintain product configuration, pricing, and quoting systems, with a primary focus on the Tacton CPQ platform.
• Manage data updates, maintenance activities, and system configurations while ensuring data integrity and quality.
• Understand and support the interaction between databases, CPQ platforms, and surrounding business systems.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to address operational and technical challenges.
• Support ongoing system improvements and process optimization initiatives.
• Create and maintain reports, analytics, and data validations as needed.

Technical Background
The ideal candidate will have a technical foundation, preferably in:

• Software Development
• Systems Analysis
• Data Analytics
• Database Management
• Related technical disciplines

The role is not heavily focused on coding; however, candidates must possess enough technical knowledge to understand system architecture, data structures, integrations, and underlying logic.

Core Technical Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability.
• Ability to understand complex systems and trace issues through multiple interconnected applications.
• Solid understanding of system architecture and data relationships.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and validation.
• Experience with databases, data analysis, or development-related activities.
• Understanding of programming concepts and system behavior.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is considered a plus, especially for understanding integrations and troubleshooting root causes.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
Advanced or fluent English.
Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Power BI and Power Platform tools
Experience or familiarity with product configuration systems (CPQ)
Knowledge of Tacton CPQ development
Knowledge of NOVO system and/or product portfolio
Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning (user or developer)

Job Description
Lead and/or support CPQ Commerce (quote-to-order) projects on the CPQ platform.
Analyze, test and resolve tickets related to CPQ Commerce, data, and integration problems, performing root cause analysis through to resolution.
Create and manage the maintenance of sales options and commerce-related rules/data in relevant systems, guaranteeing consistency and quality of data.
Update systemic data based on the requirements provided to stakeholders, including data validation and clear documentation of changes.
Develop and maintain reports and KPIs to support decision making in the area.
Work in partnership with stakeholders from different areas, maintaining proactive communication for alignment and problem resolution.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the CPQ Commerce support and delivery processes and efficiency of systems
